This stunning mezzo-soprano singer will be performing in Westbury, she will be accompanied by Maria Angel on the piano
Maria Angel had already achieved an impressive artistic career: She has won first
prizes in well renown national and international piano competitions. She has been invited to perform in different summer festivals such as The Fundacion Botin concert cycles, Universidad Complutense summer concert cycles,the Mozarteum summercourse, Steinway Piano Festival in Hamburg, International Marathon for Piano and chamber Music held in the Auditoriums of Madrid and Lope de Vega in Seville, all of which have been received with great enthusiasm and appreciation by the audiences. From 1987 to ´97 she studied in Madrid (Spain) under the distinguished teacher and concert pianist Manuel Carra. In 1999 she won a scholarship to study for a post graduate at Trinity College of Music, London, under Hillary Coates, In 2003 she completed the Artist
Certificate at Southern Methodist University She lives in Bath, England where
she is pursuing her career as a concert pianist and chamber musician.
She is currently a teacher at Bath Spa University.
