Local singer Lee Ingram is delighted to be joining in with the festivities again his year. In 2010, his Jazz Quintet presented an evening of well-known jazz standards, show tunes and popular ballads at one of the first concerts for the festival at Matravers School. Lee, who is vocalist with several musical outfits in the area, (including the Trowbridge-based DS Big Band), was supported by Carole Penhorwood (Piano), Jeremy Morgan (Bass), Julian Scott (Drums) and Mike Jeffs (Sax).
This year’s performance will include favourite songs popularised by Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, Shirley Bassey, Ray Charles and many others.
