The Bow-Legged Skeeters are a Dorset based 5 piece Bluegrass Band featuring Richard Thrift of Thrift Brothers fame on Vocals and Guitar, Charlie Cole on Vocals and 5 string Banjo, Lindsey Cole on Vocals and Double Bass, Nigel Canter on Fiddle, Pete Minkey on Vocals, Mandolin & Dobro.”
Richard has an extensive Bluegrass background having toured Europe with the Thrift Brothers, Nigel Canter has worked with a number of top artists including 3 Tons of Grass and The Morris Boys and has performed in Kentucky USA. The band play American Bluegrass and Old Time standards mixed with some new material and feature some driving instrumentals as well as 4 part harmony vocals.
